Israel thought that Ai would be an easy battle (Joshua 7). When Ai proved stronger because of sin in Israel, verse 5 says, “The hearts of the people melted and turned to water.” How does you heart respond to failure? Take heart! Be strong and courageous! Trust and obey! Confess and repent! The battle is seldom easy but we have victory in Christ.
