Welcome to the Family

Philo Road church is a family. We would love for you to join it! God adopts us through his Son, Jesus, and we are added to his family (Acts 2.47). Each family has a dynamic, below are key elements of God's family at the Philo Road church.

Love

We love because God first loved us. We want to be known by our love. That means self-sacrifice. That means humility. That means leaving selfish forms of love out of our family.

Truth

Jesus said I am the way, truth, and life . We are called out of the dark lies of the world and into his light, life, and way. It's not an easy way, but one that we dedicate ourselves to daily.

Respond

To join this family we are "born again" through immersion, otherwise known as baptism. This means we allow a member of the church family immerse us in water as a pledge to God that we are his by Jesus' defeating death.
