“Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.” Romans 12:12. Suffering people who pray find joy in hope. Is there order in this verse? Are we to rejoice in hope first? While we rejoice in hope we find the bases for being patient in suffering. The joy and patience results in preserving in prayer. What does that prayer sound like if it is founded in joy and patience?
