Some people believe you need to be baptized in running water. I wonder if they use Deuteronomy 21:4 as a proof text for this belief? This text has to do with a sacrifice that leads to God’s absolving of guilt. Our guilt is taken away by the blood of Christ on the cross. Make sure that when you are baptized that your eyes are on the cross and not the water.
