He will Rejoice over you with Gladness

Zephaniah 3:17 “He will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet your soul by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Is God’s rejoicing over us with gladness based on our performance? I submit to you that God’s glad rejoicing over us is based on His Love for us. God’s love isn’t conditional on our performance.
